We handle the clinics so you have peace of mind

Often the most stressful part of transferring IVF samples isn't the transport itself — it's coordinating between two clinics, chasing paperwork, and trying to align schedules. That's why we handle all clinic liaison as part of every transport.

When you book with Life on Ice, Bob contacts both your sending and receiving clinics directly. He arranges collection and delivery dates, gathers the required documentation, and makes sure both labs are ready.

What Our Clinic Liaison Covers

  • Initial contact with both clinics — We reach out to the sending and receiving labs to introduce the transport and confirm requirements.
  • Scheduling We work with both labs to find dates that suit their availability, then assign a courier.
  • HFEA compliance Our Technical Director, Ellen Drew, is a registered clinical embryologist with over 33 years of IVF experience.
  • Ongoing communication If either clinic has questions or needs to adjust timings, we handle it.

Third Party Agreements with 91 UK Clinics

We hold Third Party Agreements (TPAs) with 91 clinics across the UK. A TPA is a formal agreement between your clinic and our courier service, required before any transport can take place. Because we already have TPAs in place with most UK fertility clinics, this step is usually already done — saving you time and avoiding delays.

If your clinic doesn't yet have a TPA with us, we'll arrange one. It's a straightforward process and we handle it for you.
